Ensure that donor has had nothing in their mouth for at least ten (10) minutes prior to collecting the specimen
Instruct the donor to remove the cover from the collection swab to expose sponges, then have the donor swab collector sponge between cheek and gum for at least one minute on each side of the mouthObserve donor during the collection process
Continue the collection until the sponge is fully expanded
Gently drop the swab into well B allowing it to settle verticallyPush the swab down until it clicks firmly into place
Leave collection swab in place for five (5) secondsKeeping the device on the flat surface gently slide back and forth again for three (3) seconds
WAIT 8 MINUTES THEN PUSH TEST SLIDE DOWN
Squeeze the tabs in to push the test slide down
