4. The donor’s identification information and date can be written on the Rapid TOX Cup II.
5. Instruct the donor to provide an adequate sample volume. A minimum fill line is printed on the cup to ensure adequate sample volume is collected.
6. Upon receipt of specimen and within 4 minutes, read the temperature strip to ensure that it is between 90° to 100°F (32° to 38°C).

A visual check for specimen integrity may also be performed.
